The third annual IWA Cardiff Media Summit entitled “The future of media in Wales” is being held on March 29th 2017 at the Radisson Blu Hotel in Cardiff.
Hosted by the IWA in partnership with BBC Cymru Wales and University of South Wales, and supported by ITV Cymru Wales, S4C and TAC, the summit has established itself as a major forum for media in Wales, linked to longterm research, analysis and impact.
The summit will interrogate major issues affecting the media in Wales, including the future of the media workforce, Welsh language media provision and news from and for Wales. Staff from the Welsh universities will be present to showcase their latest media research.
It will open with special analysis from Claire Enders, Founder of Enders Analysis, on the likely future of the media in Wales and will also include an in-depth interview with BBC Director of Content, Charlotte Moore.
