Swansea, Wales, GB, SA1 3RD

The IWA’s ‘Re-Energising Wales’ project will provide a worked out plan which seeks to show how Wales could meet its projected energy demands from renewable sources by 2035, resulting in an 80% reduction in energy-related greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions.

As part of the ‘Re-Energising Wales’ project the IWA has undertaken an exemplar case study of the Swansea Bay City Region (SBCR) in order to provide recommendations on how to enable the SBCR to maximise its renewable sources in order to meet its projected energy demands by 2035. Findings from this case study will be presented at this event.
