Hospital Innovations
Phil Davies is managing director of medical supplies company Hospital Innovations and led an arts project undertaken in June 2012.
He is also patron of Cardiff-based disability charity the Touch Trust and has led projects to raise funds, make donations, sponsor tutors and provide business advice to the charity.
In June 2012, the company bought 500 small canvasses and members of staff volunteered with children and young people at the Touch Trust to paint them. The canvasses were then given out at the Arts and Business Wales Awards.
Hywel Dda Health Board
As head of leadership, education and development for Hywel Dda Health Board, Sarah Williams led a project to provide work experience for disadvantaged young people in the local community.
The Get into Health with Hywel Dda programme was aimed at individuals aged between 18 and 25, who were unemployed and not in training or education.
The programme offered intensive training and experience in the health sector, aiming to give young people knowledge, skills, accreditation and experience to help them find future sustainable employment.
Clwyd Alyn Housing Association
The resident involvement and community development team have organised a wide variety of social responsibility and community projects across North Wales, including community art projects, school mentoring initiatives and biodiversity projects.
The organisation, which employs 500 members of staff and owns 5,000 properties across North Wales, believes these activities have made a real difference to the lives of local residents.
