Cwmni Da

An award-winning independent production company based in Caernarfon, Cwmni Da decided to build upon its proven track record in broadcast to develop and implement additional digital platforms on which to distribute existing content and grow as a business.

It also teamed up with Coleg Menai students to help Papur Dre, the local, volunteer-run Welsh language community newspaper, go online – an enterprise which saw them win £48,000 in the UK-wide hyper local media competition.

Peacock Media Group

Set up in March 2011, PMG eschewed more traditional marketing methods from the off.

Combining social psychology and cutting edge knowledge of the latest digital technology, it set about boosting individual and company brand profiles online and across social media in an innovative new way that appealed to today’s more “brand savvy” consumer.

Several lucrative buy-out offers were refused within the first nine months of business, the originally self-financed operation quickly going from strength to strength with a growing portfolio of clients.

Monitise

When it opened in Nantgarw in March 2011 the Welsh hub of mobile phone banking technology company Monitise provided dozens of jobs opportunities for the large number of expert graduates studying in nearby universities.

Since then it has seen its staff numbers double to 80, all of whom work together in virtual teams with its hi-tech staff in other far-flung offices such as San Francisco and Hong Kong.

It’s also helped facilitate the successful delivery of multiple projects and creation of mass market Mobile Money services for some of the world’s leading financial institutions on an international scale.
