The ‘crowd’ have had their say, so what do the decision makers think? Over the past four months we’ve been asking those affected by cancer to give us their ideas of how to improve care and treatment in Wales. Our website ‘letstalkcancer.wales’ and submission boxes at health centres across Wales captured over 100 ideas in just six weeks.
Over the Summer we have worked through the highest rated ideas, spoken with experts and practitioners and are developing these ideas into practical policy solutions for the NHS in Wales.
We want these ideas to become real changes that will improve care for people affected by cancer.
On Thursday 24th September, we’ll be launching our recommendations and putting them to the Deputy Minister for Health, and each of the political parties in the Assembly as part of a panel discussion.
This is a free event, but booking is essential.
