Workshop 2: Different ways of finding answers
There are many different methods organisations and individuals can use to find, collate and analyse information to provide them with insights and help shape decision making. This workshop provides a systematic overview of the various research methods and will help you understand how to employ them effectively to achieve greater impact.
We will look at:
- Qualitative methods
- Quantitative methods
- The dangers of relying on one, the benefits of using them together.
These workshops are developed and delivered in partnership with Dr Rob Rowlands, Director of Rob Rowlands Research.
Having trained in planning and housing, and with a PhD in Urban Geography, Rob has over 20 years experience working at some of the UK’s top universities responding to, developing and managing research.
